• POSITION: Mechanical Technician• Company: A private equity-backed midstream operator based in Dallas, TX• Location: Hobbs, NM (live within about 1 hour of Hobbs for callouts)• Schedule: Salaried, one home site (not a rotation); callout response required.

ABOUT THE ROLE Mechanical maintenance on natural gas gathering and processing compression equipment, with hands-on work on 3500 and 3600 series compression. You'll join a team of three technicians under a hands-on, easygoing manager who knows the equipment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO- Troubleshoot and repair natural gas engines and compressors- Perform preventive maintenance and major overhauls on engines and compressors- Change compressor suction/discharge valves, gaskets, filters, lubricants, gauges and control valves- Support startups and shutdowns; keep compressors running at high availability- Record mic readings and work orders in the maintenance system (Brightly)

WHAT THEY'RE LOOKING FOR- 3-5+ years of hands-on mechanical experience in oil and gas- Hands-on experience with 3500 and 3600 series equipment- Midstream experience preferred- Independent, dependable and naturally mechanically inclined- Valid driver's license and good driving record
