Med/Surg Registered Nurse- DaysJoin our dynamic healthcare team as a Med/Surg Registered Nurse on the day shift, providing critical patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment. Your expertise will support patient recovery and comfort, ensuring compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards. This role requires a proactive approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.Required Skills:
- Current RN licensure in Louisiana
- BLS certification
- CPI/MOAB/EDGE certification
- ACLS certification
- EMR proficiency (CPSI/TrueBridge preferred)
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- PALS certification (preferred for Med/Surg; required for ED)
- Previous experience in a hospital setting, particularly in Med/Surg units
- Knowledge of hospital policies and procedures
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient needs
- Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent Med/Surg nursing experience
- Must be available to work the day shift (7 am- 7 pm)
- Willingness to work a 36-hour week
- EMR experience with CPSI/TrueBridge is preferred
