As a Med Surg Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals in a 23-bed unit, ensuring the best outcomes for your patients. Your responsibilities will include:Providing direct patient care in a 1:6 ratio, with a 1:5 ratio during weekday day shiftsFloating to PCU for MSU assignments as neededMaintaining accurate and timely documentation using the EPIC charting systemAdhering to trauma level 3 protocols and proceduresCollaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plansRequirements for this role include:Current RN licenseBLS (AHA or ARC) and NIHSS certificationsNeed 1 year experience in settingAbility to work every other weekend and up to 2 extra mandatory shifts per 6 weeks
