Registered Nurse - Med-Surg Unit
Fort Defiance, AZ

Are you a dedicated Registered Nurse with a passion for providing exceptional care to both adult and pediatric patients? Do you thrive in a dynamic Med-Surg environment with excellent staffing ratios? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our healthcare partner's team in a 20-bed medical-surgical unit that caters to a diverse patient population.
As a valued member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering compassionate and comprehensive care to adult geriatrics and pediatric patients. You will work alongside a supportive team in a facility that values excellence and patient-centered care.
- Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and pediatric patients in the Med-Surg unit
- Maintain excellent staffing ratios, ensuring optimal patient care
- Administer medications, monitor patient progress, and document care accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to a positive work environment
- Float to other departments as needed, based on qualifications and experience
- Assist with Flu Immunization clinics as required
Requirements:
- Need 3 years experience in Med-Surg setting, with 1 year pediatric experience
- American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Comfortable working with both adult and pediatric patients
- Flexibility to work 12-hour day shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
