RN – Medical Surgical Registered Nurse - Health Advocates Network is urgently hiring Medical Surgical RNs with at least 1 year of recent experience! IMMEDIATE STARTS!

• Local pay rate up to $64.39 Hour
• Shift: night - 3x12
• 8,13 & 26 week contracts available

Definition of Position:The Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse provides direct and individualized nursing care to adult patients before and after surgical procedures. This role involves assessing patient conditions, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Responsible for initiating the computerized Plan of Care on admission. Perform general nursing duties in all departments under appropriate supervision.Essential Job Functions: Perform a variety of duties often changing from one task to another of a different nature without loss of efficiency or composure. Incorporating guest relations in daily activities. Ability to provide care for the patient's age-specific, cultural, physical, and psychosocial well-being. Agency nurses will be floated to other departments where they are qualified to perform patient The employee supports the hospital mission, vision, values, policies, and procedures. Participates in required education for DNV programs as applicable to position (reference program education curriculum). Performs other related duties as assigned.Qualifications:EducationRequired: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursingPreferred: BSN, MSNLicenses/ certifications/ registrationsRequired: Evidence of continuing education is appropriate for skill level and area of practice. Current RN license in the State of Oregon; BLS, ACLS and PALSPreferred: Certified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (CMSRN)Preferred: Previous Medical-Surgical nursing. CRASE training. If travel assignment extends beyond a 6-month period, CRASE training will be required. Certifications:BLS - required PALS - required ACLS - requiredRequirements:

• Active OR State Registered Nurse License
• Valid BLS
• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
• Additional certifications may be required
