Position: Medication Technician (Med Tech)

Schedule: Part-Time, Weekends Only (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM)

The Medication Technician provides direct and indirect care under the supervision of an RN or LPN, assists with daily living activities, and maintains a safe, clean environment. Primary duties include safely administering medications and supporting residents' physical and psychosocial needs with dignity and respect.

Position Highlights

• Completion of Medication Technician competency checklist

• Must obtain required Medication Technician training certificate

• Assisted Living experience preferred

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English

Responsibilities

• Follow universal precautions

• Complete assigned tasks or report incomplete duties

• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges

• Provide morning and evening care (hygiene, grooming, linens, room organization)

• Provide post-mortem care as needed

Experience & Requirements

• Certified Nursing Assistant or currently enrolled in a nurse aide training program

• Attend required in-service programs
