Job Description
Job Title: Global Medical Oncology Medical Communications / Promotional Review Specialist Location: Giralda Farms, Madison, NJ (50% Onsite) Duration: 6 Months Contract Schedule: Monday Friday | 8:00 AM 5:00 PM Rate Range :$105 to $112.58/hr Position Summary We are seeking a Global Medical Oncology Medical Communications / Promotional Review Specialist to join a leading pharmaceutical organization. This role will support the Global Medical Communications Team by ensuring medical accuracy, scientific validity, and regulatory compliance of promotional and medical communication materials. The selected candidate will act as a strategic medical reviewer, partnering with cross-functional teams to evaluate scientific evidence, ensure balanced messaging, and support promotional review activities. Key Responsibilities
- Review and ensure medical accuracy and scientific validity of promotional and medical communication materials.
- Critically evaluate promotional strategies, tactics, and messaging to ensure alignment with regulatory guidance and scientific evidence.
- Assess clinical data, references, and supporting literature used to support product claims.
- Provide medical expertise during cross-functional meetings, including promotional review committees and brand planning discussions.
- Maintain updated knowledge of therapeutic areas, treatment guidelines, and scientific publications.
- Collaborate with commercial, regulatory, and medical affairs teams to resolve scientific or compliance issues.
- Support initiatives aimed at process improvements and best practices within medical review teams.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, regulatory standards, and internal policies.
- Contribute to medical strategy discussions and business review meetings.
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD), MD, PhD, or equivalent advanced scientific degree
- 3 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical industry or clinical practice
- Experience reviewing medical communications or promotional materials
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal scientific communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Experience in medical communications, promotional review, or medical affairs
- Prior experience in oncology therapeutic area
- Experience working with multidisciplinary pharmaceutical teams
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
