Staten Island, New York 10311Looking to take your Medical Assistant career into a fast-paced, team-focused pediatric urgent care environment where you can truly make an impact? You’ll work alongside pediatric providers in a high-energy urgent care setting designed specifically for children and families. From supporting sick visits to assisting with urgent procedures, you’ll play a critical role in keeping care efficient, compassionate, and patient-focused.Why You’ll Love Working With Us: Competitive Pay – Starting at $23.00hr (negotiable based on experience). What You’ll Do
Room and preparepediatricpatients for urgent care visits
Obtain vitals, medical histories, and perform clinical intake
Assist providers with urgent care procedures and patient flow
PerformphlebotomyEKGs, point-of-care testing, and specimen collection
Support medication administration and clinical documentation
Educate and reassure patients and families during visits
Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and infection control standards
Collaborate closely with providers, nurses, and front desk staff
Help ensure an efficient, positive patient experience
What We’re Looking For
Medical Assistant certification preferred
Current BLS and PALS certifications required
EKGcertification/experiencerequired
Phlebotomy experience required
Urgent care, emergency medicine, orpediatricexperience strongly preferred
Strong clinical, multitasking, and communication skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Experience with EMR systems preferred (AthenaOneexperience a plus)
Compassionate, team-oriented, and patient-focused mindset
