Job Description

Full-Time | Monday–Friday | No Weekends

Looking for a Medical Assistant role where no two days are the same? As a Medical Assistant 2, you’ll support providers with hands-on patient care and assist at the front desk with scheduling, check-in, and patient communication. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys variety, teamwork, and being cross-trained across the office.

We’re actively interviewing and looking to hire quickly.

What You’ll Do:

  • Room patients, take vitals, update histories, and prep for exams
  • Assist providers with injections, wound care, nail care, minor procedures, and in-office surgeries
  • Take X-rays, apply DME/strappings, and prepare lab specimens
  • Clean and sterilize instruments; stock rooms and supplies
  • Answer phones, schedule appointments, manage provider calendars
  • Handle patient check-in/out, insurance verification, referrals, and copays
  • Maintain patient records (EMR, scanning, faxing, data entry)
  • Support billing follow-ups, orthotics tracking, and end-of-day documentation

What We’re Looking For:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Completion of a Medical Assistant program or 2+ years of hands-on clinical experience
  • CMA or RMA certification preferred
  • Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced clinic environment
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Experience with EMR systems, medical terminology, and basic insurance processes
  • Comfortable using Microsoft tools (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel)
