Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) is preferred, but will consider Medical Assistant-Registered (MA-R). Will NOT consider Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist (MA-P) or Medical Assistant-Hemodialysis Technician (MA-HT). This position is open to LOCAL and NON-LOCAL candidates. This position is available November 2026 through March 2027, with possibility of extension, as this is to cover a maternity leave. There may be an opportunity to join the clinic permanently at the end of the contract if a full-time position becomes available. • Friday // OFF WEEKENDS) - Experience: 1 year of experience working as an MA in an adult outpatient clinic setting is REQUIRED, and cardiology experience is REQUIRED.
• Skills Required: VITAL SIGNS (Height/Weight, Obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG, Obtain Vital Signs, Pulse Oximetry), PREPARE FOR EXAM (Record History/Medications/Allergies), OFFICE DUTIES (Authorization Forms, Chart Preparation, Insurance Verification, Pharmacy calls/patient refill requests, Scheduling appointments, Stocking Supplies, Telephone Triage), PROFESSIONAL SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE (Review Lab Tests, Rooming Patients) Strong preference for candidates who have experience utilizing Microsoft Excel.
