Job Description

Medical Assistant

Location: Medical Center- Houston, TX

Pay Rate: Starting at $18.00/hour

Schedule:6:45 AM-3:30 PM

Dean's Professional Services is seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to support a leading healthcare organization in the Medical Center area of Houston, TX. This is an excellent opportunity for a certified Medical Assistant who is confident providing hands-on patient care and administering injections.

Responsibilities

Prepare patients for examinations and procedures.
Obtain and document vital signs and patient information.
Assist providers with routine clinical procedures.
Administer injections safely and accurately as directed.
Prepare and maintain examination rooms and clinical supplies.
Follow proper infection control and patient safety procedures.
Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and clinical staff.
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
Support the clinical team with daily patient care and workflow.

Qualifications

BLS certification required
National Medical Assistant certification required
Demonstrated ability to administer injections
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
