- PediatricsGranger Medical Clinic is looking for a skilled and compassionate full-time Medical Assistant to join our float pool. In this role, you will be at our West Valley City clinic in Pediatrics and provide essential support to various clinics and providers, working closely with physicians and clinical staff to ensure exceptional patient care while helping our clinic run smoothly and efficiently.Schedule: Mon
- Fri, 8 am
- 5 pmResponsibilities:Conducting telephone triage and communicating with parents/guardiansManaging insurance authorizations and prior approvals
Recording vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, height, weight, etc.)Administering immunizations
Performing phlebotomy and specimen collection
Preparing and maintaining exam rooms
Accurately documenting patient information
Strong customer service and communication skills
Dependable, flexible, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset
Professional verbal and written communication skills
Qualifications & SkillsHigh School Diploma or GEDMedical Assistant Certification required1 year of experience in a medical setting preferred
Must be bilingual in SpanishPhysical Requirements & Working Conditions:Prolonged standing and walking
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Frequent use of computers and office equipment (repetitive motion)Work performed in an indoor, climate-controlled environment
