Morrissey is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant for a busy Primary Care office in Vernon, CT. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for a dependable and patient-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment. Responsibilities
- Room patients and obtain vital signs*
- Assist providers with patient care and clinical procedures*
- Document patient information accurately in Epic*
- Coordinate patient flow and support daily office operations*
- Schedule appointments and manage clinical communications*
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure HIPAA compliance
- Minimum of 1-2 years of Medical Assistant experience required*
- Prior Primary Care experience required*
- Experience using Epic and Allscripts Pro Preferred*
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification required*
- Strong communication and organizational skills*
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced office setting
- MondayFriday schedule*
- No weekends*
