Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Orthopedics Farmington, CT $25$26/hour Full-Time | Temporary with Potential for Hire J. MorrisseyAre you a skilled Certified Medical Assistant looking to grow your career with a leading healthcare organization? J. Morrissey is seeking an experienced CMA to join a busy Orthopedics practice in Farmington, CT. This is a temporary opportunity with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate.In this role, you'll work alongside a variety of specialty providers in a collaborative, patient-centered environment, helping deliver exceptional care to orthopedic patients. Responsibilities
- Provide clinical support to multiple orthopedic specialty providers*
- Room patients and obtain/document vital signs*
- Prepare exam rooms and assist with patient flow*
- Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record*
- Coordinate patient care and communicate effectively with providers and team members*
- Schedule appointments and assist with administrative duties as needed*
- Deliver excellent customer service while ensuring a positive patient experience
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required*
- Minimum of 2 years of Medical Assistant experience required*
- Experience in a specialty or orthopedic setting preferred*
- Familiarity with electronic medical records; Epic experience is a plus*
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment*
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- 8-hour day shifts*
- Start time: 7:45 AM*
- MondayFriday schedule
- Competitive pay: $30$34/hour, based on experience*
