Job Description

Metro Vein Centers is a rapidly growing healthcare practice specializing in state-of-the-art vein treatments. Our board-certified physicians and expert staff are on a mission to improve people’s quality of life by relieving the painful, yet highly treatable symptoms of vein disease—such as varicose veins and heavy, aching legs.

With over 60 clinics across 7 states, and still growing, we’re building the future of vein care—delivering compassionate, results-driven care in a modern, patient-first environment.

We proudly maintain a Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 93, the highest patient satisfaction in the industry.

Our Medical Assistants are the heartbeat of the clinic—ensuring smooth patient flow, top-notch support for physicians, and an exceptional patient experience from start to finish. You’ll work alongside physicians, RVTs, and front desk staff to guide patients through their visit, from rooming and vitals to prep and follow-up.

We are looking for a MA with a clinical background, including experience in taking vitals, handling sterilization protocols, maintaining HIPAA compliance, and supporting minor procedures in a fast-paced medical setting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, professional, and committed to delivering the highest standard of care and service.

What You’ll Do

  • Greet and escort patients to exam rooms, take and record vitals
  • Room patients, prep treatment areas, and clean exam rooms between procedures
  • Assist the physician during minor surgical procedures
  • Ensure patients are prepped, consented, and comfortable before procedures
  • Review aftercare instructions and answer basic questions from patients
  • Coordinate with RVTs, PSRs, and physicians to support patient flow and daily schedule
  • Restock and track clinical supplies using inventory management systems
  • Help monitor clinic readiness and review patient charts in advance for supply and procedural prep
  • Serve as a liaison between patients and staff, grabbing patients for RVTs or doctors and assisting with front desk tasks as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness and infection control standards throughout the day

What You’ll Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • CNA, Surgery Assistant, Phlebotomy, or Patient Care Technician experience strongly preferred
  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology and comfort working in a clinical setting
  • Familiarity with HIPAA guidelines
  • Experience obtaining vital signs and supporting sterile procedures
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, not required
  • Flexibility and reliability to meet clinic needs
