Job Description

Hiring for Medical Assistants in Newton, MA.Weekly Gross: $1,000/week | $25/hr on W2.

Position Details:

  • Contract Length: 13 Weeks with possible extensions.

  • Shift & Schedule: (40hrs/week) 5x8s Days (08:30 am to 5:00 pm).

Job Details & Requirements:

  1. Minimum 1-2 years of experience as an MA.

  2. Must have BLS (AHA).

  3. EPIC EMR experience required

  4. Must be COVID and Flu Vaccinated.

Job Duties:

  1. Obtain patient history, perform vital signs, review screening questionnaires, and record information in the EMR system
  2. Administer vaccine(s), perform EKGs, Ear Lavages, NEB treatments, Visual Tests, etc., document appropriately in patient record.
  3. Queue up Rx requests for providers, Medication reconciliation.
  4. Monitor/address in basket messages daily.
  5. Clean, stock, and maintain examination rooms daily.
  6. Manage equipment and supply inventory.
  7. Serve as a liaison between physicians and other individuals, such as patients.
  8. Generate Clinical letters for patients and mail.
  9. Scanning of documents.
  10. Completing forms for patients.
  11. Function as a team member, including being flexible and providing coverage backup.
  12. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
