Build your Career. Make a Difference. Presbyterian is hiring a skilled Medical Assistant to provide direct patient care to an assigned group of patients in an Outpatient Clinic. Type of Opportunity: Full time FTE: 1.00 Job Exempt: No Work Shift: Days (United States of America)Responsibilities:
- Sign on available for qualified candidates
- Responsible for performing medical assistant procedures after completion of competency within organizations MA scope of work, under the supervision of a provider and PHS policy.
- Assists with procedures as determined by provider
- Participates with care team to meet patient care and clinic needs, working cooperatively with others to accomplish required work in a timely and efficient manner
- Perform other duties as required
Qualifications:
- Successful completion of Presbyterian MA Advanced Skills Training within 12 months of hire
- BLS required at time of hire.
- High School Diploma or GED
