Job Summary:We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate full-time Medical Assistant to join our healthcare client, a growing psychotherapy practice located in South Portland, ME. In this role, you will provide essential clinical and administrative support to ensure the safe, efficient, and patient-centered delivery of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) treatments for individuals experiencing mental health conditions such as depression. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in medical procedures, patient care, HIPAA standards, and office management, with a focus on fostering a welcoming environment that promotes healing and well-being.

Position Details:

Temp-to-hire (90-day trial period)
100% on-site in South Portland, ME
Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 3:00pm (35 hours per week)

Duties:

Administer Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) treatments according to physician treatment plans.
Monitor patients throughout treatment to ensure their safety, comfort, and well-being.
Educate and support patients throughout their treatment journey, answering questions and providing reassurance.
Accurately document treatment sessions, patient progress, and required clinical records.
Observe and report changes in patient condition or safety concerns to the clinical team.
Maintain treatment equipment, supplies, and a clean, organized treatment environment.
Collaborate with providers and staff to deliver exceptional patient care.
Assist with general administrative and office support duties as needed.
