What You'll Be Doing:
- Getting Patients Ready to Shine- Prep charts, check vitals, and set the stage for great care!
- Hands-On Clinical Work- Administer meds, give immunizations, collect specimens, and assist with minor procedures like wound care, suture removal, and more.
- Tech Savvy & Detail-Oriented- Keep patient records up to date in our electronic medical records (EMR) system.
- Team Player Extraordinaire- Support providers, participate in team huddles, and help keep the clinic running like a well-oiled machine.
- Patient Educator- Help patients understand their treatment plans, new medications, and follow-up care.
What You Bring to the Table:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Graduate of an Accredited Medical Assistant Program
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, NRCMA, or CCMA) - Required at time of hire and must be maintained.
- Current BLS Certification (or ability to obtain before starting).
- Knowledge of POCT, Immunizations, and Injections- You'll be giving shots like a pro!
- Strong Problem-Solving Skills- You think on your feet and adapt quickly.
- Excellent Organization & Time Management- You keep things running like a well-oiled machine.
- Customer Service Rockstar- Patients feel comfortable and cared for in your hands.
- Tech-Savvy- Comfortable with Microsoft applications and EMR systems.
- Radiology Certification (if applicable) - If the role requires X-ray functions, you must have radiology training from your MA program or a validated competency checklist.
