Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) is REQUIRED; Cannot be a Medical Assistant-Registered (MA-R), Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist (MA-P), or Medical Assistant-Hemodialysis Technician (MA-HT).This position is open to LOCAL, NON-LOCAL, and TRUE TRAVEL candidates.

Internal Medicine Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) - Edmonds, WA

Schedule: 4x10hr, 0700-1730 (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday // OFF THURSDAYS AND WEEKENDS)
Experience: 1 year of experience working as an MA-C in an adult outpatient clinic setting
Skills REQ: Vital Signs, Exam Prep, Injections, Specimen Collection, Administrative
First-timers accepted: Yes
Weekend REQ: No
Is on-call REQ? No
Will this traveler need to float between like units? No, same location every day

SPECIAL NOTES:

Our clinic is medium-sized, comprising six care teams and seven medical assistants, with a focus on a predominantly geriatric patient panel. Prior experience with EPIC EMR and Primary Care, particularly wellness visits, is beneficial for candidates. We are conveniently located on a hospital campus within a medical building that offers free parking.
