JOB REQUIREMENTS:-Experience: 1 year of certified experience-MEDICAL ASSISTANT DIPLOMA FROM A DAPIP ACCREDITED PROGRAM. National Certs not accepted.-Certs: BLS ( AHA or ARC only)-Education: HS/GED-FLU VACCCINE (no exemptions)

JOB DETAILS:-Weekend REQ: As needed-Floating REQ: Yes, within Neurosciences, between neurology and neurosurgery-NO SCHEDULING REQUESTS CAN BE ACCOMODATED.

JOB DUTIES/ADDITIONAL UNIT INFO/CASELOAD: Patient Diagnoses: Neurology- Parkinson's disease, ALS, Multiple Sclerosis, Stroke, Epilepsy/Seizure, CMT, MDA, Headache, Memory/Dementia, Palliative Care. Neurosurgery - brain tumors, neurovascular, spine, pediatrics, pituitary disorders, oncology, CSF leaks, acoustic neuroma. Special Procedures: EMG, EEG, Injections - Botox, trigger point, nerve blocks, skin biopsies, suture/staple removal, 25-ft walk test, FVC/NIF Spirometry
