A bit about us:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Biller to join a mission-driven Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) serving underserved communities. This role is responsible for accurate and timely medical billing, with a strong focus on Medicare and Medicaid claims. Dental billing experience is a plus.

Job Details

Key Responsibilities

• · Prepare, review, and submit medical (and dental, if applicable) claims to Medicare, Medicaid, and other payers
• · Ensure claims are accurate, complete, and compliant with payer and FQHC guidelines
• · Resolve claim denials, rejections, and payment discrepancies in a timely manner
• · Post payments, adjustments, and reconcile accounts as needed
• · Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits
• · Maintain accurate billing records and documentation
• · Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to resolve billing issues
• · Adhere to HIPAA and organizational compliance standards

Qualifications

• · 1–3 years of medical billing experience, specifically with Medicare and Medicaid
• · Dental billing experience strongly preferred
• · Knowledge of medical billing codes, claim forms, and reimbursement processes
• · Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• · Ability to work onsite in a fast-paced healthcare environment
