We are a growing medical billing company that provides billing services for ABA therapy, urgent care centers, and mental health practices. Our team focuses on accurate, compliant, and efficient revenue cycle management for healthcare providers.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Medical Biller with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on billing experience, preferably in ABA, mental health, or urgent care. The ideal candidate understands the full revenue cycle and can manage claims efficiently from submission through payment and follow-up.
Responsibilities
Submit and manage insurance claims (commercial and government payers)
Follow up on unpaid, denied, or rejected claims
Post payments and reconcile accounts
Verify insurance eligibility and benefits
Handle prior authorizations when required
Work denials and appeals
Communicate with insurance companies and provider offices
Maintain accurate documentation and billing records
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of medical billing experience
Experience with ABA therapy, mental health, urgent care, or similar specialties strongly preferred
Strong understanding of insurance guidelines and billing regulations
Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding basics
Detail-oriented and organized
Ability to work full-time in office (Monsey, NY)
