Friendship Village Retirement Community is looking for an experienced Medical Billing Specialist. As the Billing specialist you will:
- Update census information daily
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of resident and insurance billing.
- Following up on denied or unpaid claims, including appeals and resubmissions.
- Reconciling claims billing reports.
- Prepare therapy orders and obtain prior authorizations if required.
- Prepare weekly deposits.
- Answer resident billing questions.

Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Have an Associate's Degree in Medical Billing or 2 years of Medical Billing Experience.
- Exceptional computer skills, especially Office suites including excel.
- Experience with Point Click Care or other Long Term Care resident systems is a plus.
- Must be self-driven, have outstanding organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Applicants are required to pass pre-employment screenings that could include: Criminal background checks, Abuse registry check, Drug test, Physical, and TB test
