Location: 250 Miller Place, Hicksville, NY 11801
Days: Monday - Friday
Hours: 7:30am-4:00pm
Full-time: Benefit Eligible
HOURLY RATE: $17-$19/hr
Work From Home; once fully trained on-site
In this role you will:
Enter patient information into the Billing System in a timely and accurate manner
Verify eligibility with insurance carriers and use established protocols to contact providers to ensure accuracy of information and timely filing
Navigate insurance websites reading EOBs and answering customer insurance questions
Follow the Q&A process of unbilled claims and correct errors as needed
Back-up as Customer Service Rep. Answering questions from inbound patient calls regarding their bills and taking payments.
All you need :
HS Diploma or equivalent
Medical Billing Certification, preferred
Strong typing skills, required
