Position Title: Medical Coder
Organization: Medical Transportation Management
Job Responsibilities:
- Handle inbound calls from Members, Clients, and Facilities
- Manage approximately 60-80 calls a day, with higher volumes on Mondays
- Provide exceptional customer service and represent MTM Health in a professional manner
- Ensure accurate and timely coding of medical diagnoses and procedures
Essential Qualifications:
- Reside in Rhode Island
- 1 year of Call Center experience
- 6 months of Customer Service experience
- Basic typing/computer skills with excellent navigational abilities
- High-speed internet access (minimum upload speed of 3 mbps and download speed of 30 mbps)
Desired Experience:
- Previous experience in medical coding
- Certification in Medical Coding (e.g., CPC)
- Familiarity with medical terminology and coding guidelines
