Medical Device Assembly TechnicianLocation: Richmond, VAPay: Starting at $17/hour (Based on Experience)Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am-5:00pmEmployment Type: Temp-to-PermNow Hiring Medical Device Assembly Technicians!Qualified Staffing is recruiting Assembly Technicians for a medical instrument manufacturer in Richmond, VA. This role involves assembling precision medical devices using small parts, following detailed instructions, and ensuring products meet strict quality and regulatory standards.What You’ll Do
- Assemble medical instruments and components following detailed work instructions and diagrams
- Inspect parts using gauges, fixtures, and visual checks to ensure quality standards are met
- Complete production paperwork and batch documentation accurately
- Use hand tools and small electric fastening tools safely
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in a regulated manufacturing environment
- Report defects, equipment issues, or process concerns promptly
- Follow all GMP, FDA, and quality procedures
- High school diploma or GED required (technical training preferred)
- Previous small-parts assembly, electronics, or medical device experience preferred
- Strong manual dexterity and ability to work with small components
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain accuracy
- Comfortable performing repetitive tasks while standing for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and quality mindset
