Job Description

Overview:

16 hrs/week, primarily day shift with availability on weekdays and some weekends per department needs. Exact schedule TBD upon hire.

Base pay $20.55/hr plus applicable shift differentials. Benefits eligible.

Maintains, repairs, and delivers medical equipment to ensure proper functioning and availability for patient care.

Job Description:

Essential Functions:

  • Maintains medical equipment by conducting routine inspections and performing preventive maintenance.
  • Collaborates to repair and troubleshoot medical equipment malfunctions to ensure proper functioning. Keeps accurate records of equipment maintenance and repairs.
  • Orders and restocks medical supplies and equipment as needed, monitoring and maintaining inventory and expenses.
  • Cleans and sterilizes medical equipment to prevent the spread of infection.
  • Trains medical staff on proper use and maintenance of equipment.
  • Participates in continuous process improvement for materials management and cost reduction programs.

Experience:

  • One year ofexperience withstocking ormaterials, preferred.
  • Experience in a management role in a hospital, or direct care provider, preferred.
  • Familiarity with instruments and supplies utilized in the provision of dental careand urgent care settings, preferred.
