Community Health Alliance is looking for full-time Medical Front Office Representative. Join our talented team of Medical that focus on serving the community and helping those in need by creating healthy outcomes for patients of every income. We operate six convenient locations throughout Reno and Sparks, providing comprehensive, top-quality medical services, dental and pediatric care, behavioral health, low-cost pharmacies, nourishing food pantries, and more. Position Summary The Medical Front Office Representative serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors. This position performs a wide range of front desk activities including patient registration, scheduling, insurance verification, and cashiering. The Representative ensures all required paperwork is completed, protects patient confidentiality, and provides exemplary customer service. This role is critical to the smooth operation of the clinic and upholding CHA's mission and values. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA):
- Knowledge of front office procedures in a medical/dental clinic.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, ADA/CPT/ICD-10 codes.
- Experience with EMR systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard office equipment.
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Cultural sensitivity and ability to work with diverse populations.
- Professional judgment and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a medical/dental front office setting.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred but not required.
