Ivey Mechanical is a fast-paced, industry-leading commercial and industrial mechanical company seeking a Medical Gas Installer to install, maintain, and test piping systems and equipment for medical gas and vacuum systems.
Key Responsibilities
As a Plumber
- Interpret blueprints and building plans.
- Select and install various types of piping and fixtures.
- Cut, thread, and join pipes using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Test systems for leaks and ensure compliance with plans and safety standards.
- Work accurately and safely in coordination with other trades.
As a Medical Gas Installer
- Install life safety systems using correct materials and methods.
- Understand and apply relevant codes, laws, and regulations.
- Maintain certification through regular brazing performance tests.
- Use oxygen-acetylene torches and nitrogen purging techniques.
