Job Description

ROLE SUMMARY

The Medical Insights, Product Owner role (Senior Manager) is accountable for the operational backbone that keeps InsightXplorer (The Insights Platform) running smoothly day to day, working globally across regions and all the Medical Insights team members. This role owns platform access and licensing, intake and triage of incoming requests, coordination with technical hosting teams, and team-wide reporting and metrics cadences. It also runs platform governance - prioritizing the backlog and adjudicating competing requests across regions and stakeholder groups - bringing structure, consistency, and clear decision-making to a fast-growing, globally-scoped team. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Platform Operations

  • Own access provisioning, licensing, and user administration for InsightXplorer.
  • Coordinate with technical hosting and Digital & Technology partners on platform availability, incidents, and maintenance windows.
  • Maintain documentation of operational processes, access policies, and support procedures.

Intake & Coordination

  • Own intake and triage of incoming requests across the team, routing them to the appropriate Engagement Lead, Product Director, or Data Analyst.
  • Maintain visibility into workload and capacity across all three Director lanes to support resourcing decisions.
  • Coordinate recurring team cadences (governance forums, planning reviews, reporting cycles).

Reporting, Metrics & Resource Oversight

  • Own team-wide reporting on adoption, usage, and delivery metrics across regions and the platform.
  • Consolidate inputs from Engagement Leads and the Product Director into consistent, leadership-ready reporting.
  • Where operations work is performed by a contracted resource, oversee that resource's scope, quality, and priorities; where staffed directly, execute the scope described above.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of external stakeholders to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field, with relevant experience in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life-sciences industry.
  • 6+ years of experience in operations, platform administration, program coordination, or a related function within a matrixed organization.
  • Experience managing intake processes, resourcing, or cross-team coordination.
  • Strong organizational skills and comfort managing multiple concurrent workstreams and stakeholders.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience managing or overseeing contracted or vendor resources.
  • Familiarity with analytics platforms, access governance, or data platform operations.

Professional Capabilities

  • Builds trusted working relationships across Directors, technical partners, and contracted resources.
  • Applies strong organizational judgment to competing operational priorities across a shared-service role.
  • Communicates clearly and consistently across a matrixed team structure.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $124,400.00 to $207,400.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
