Medical Lab Scientist

Pride Health is hiring a Medical Lab Scientist to support our client's healthcare facility in Shelton CT 06484. Job Details:  Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday 9:00am – 5:30pmLocation: Shelton CT 06484Job Type: Local contractContract Length: 3 monthsPay Range: $30 to $40/hour**Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education. 

Responsibilities: 

Performs blood collection by venipuncture and capillary technique from patients of all age groups 

Performs specimen processing and EKG in a safe, accurate, and professional manner. 

Performs order entry; retrieves and verifies patient collection data and patient special notations using appropriate sources. 

Required Education: 

High school diploma or equivalent. 

Pediatrics Phlebotomy experienced preferred 

Minimum of 3 Years of phlebotomy experience required
