Overview

We are hiring a Medical Lab Technician (MLT) to join a collaborative laboratory team providing essential diagnostic services. This role offers the opportunity to perform a broad range of tests, operate advanced laboratory equipment, and contribute to safe, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting. Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing in chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, and immunology.

• Collect, process, and analyze specimens, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.

• Alert providers and nursing staff to abnormal or critical test results.

• Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.

• Ensure compliance with safety, quality control, and regulatory standards.

• Maintain accurate records and participate in ongoing quality assurance.

Qualifications

Required

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Florida Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) license (active or applied)

• National certification (MLT, ASCP, CPT, or AMT)

Preferred

• Associate’s degree or higher in Medical Laboratory Science or related field

• Prior laboratory experience (clinical rotations, lab assistant, or specimen processor roles accepted)

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly range: $22.66 – $30.54 (based on experience)

• Evening differential: +$1.45/hour

• Night differential: +$2.50/hour

• $15,000 sign-on bonus
