Medical Laboratory Scientist

Looking for a new laboratory opportunity? A hospital in Alaska is seeking an experienced Medical Laboratory Scientist to join its team.

Position Highlights

  • Full-time | Varied shifts
  • Nights, weekends & call required
  • Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance for qualified hires
  • Perform high-complexity testing across the laboratory
  • Opportunities to support Microbiology, Transfusion Medicine, Molecular Biology & Infectious Disease
  • Strong focus on QC, troubleshooting, regulatory compliance & process improvement

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related field
  • ASCP MT/MLS, AMT CLS, or equivalent certification
  • At least 1 year of clinical experience or qualifying hospital internship
  • Comfortable working independently and making critical testing decisions
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and training skills
