Job Description
A well-established hospital laboratory is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist / Medical Technologist (MLS/MT) to support high-quality diagnostic testing in a fast-paced clinical environment. This is a direct-hire permanent opportunity with strong benefits and growth potential.
Position Overview
The laboratory is hiring for multiple openings across various shifts to support 24/7 operations. Candidates will work within a collaborative lab team performing routine and specialized diagnostic testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform accurate and timely clinical laboratory testing in core lab areas
- Operate and maintain automated and manual laboratory instruments
- Perform quality control procedures and ensure regulatory compliance
- Validate and report patient results according to established protocols
- Collaborate with medical staff to support diagnostic decision-making
Candidate Requirements
- ASCP certification (MLS/MT or equivalent preferred/required depending on role)
- Experience in a hospital or clinical laboratory setting preferred
- Strong generalist background preferred (chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, etc.)
- Blood bank experience is a plus for select positions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
