Job Description
Exceptional Healthcare Community Hospital is seeking an experienced and certified Medical Laboratory Tech/Scientist to join its team at Eloy facility. This is a FULL-TIME (36hr/week) NIGHT Shift position. Set ScheduleDescription:
- Areas of testing include hematology, chemistry, coagulation, immunoassay, urinalysis, and point of care
- Uses automated equipment and specialized instrumentation to prepare samples for analysis to aid the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases
- Manages daily workload within the department to ensure patient testing is completed timely
- Reviews quality control results prior to reporting patient results and taking corrective action when needed
- Other duties as assigned Requirements: Must have at least an associate's degree in medical technology, chemistry, physical or biological science.
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- ASCP certified or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of hospital laboratory experience
- Knowledge of hospital laboratory practices, including infection control requirements, chemical and biological hazards
