The ideal candidate will be a dedicated professional with a strong background in medical malpractice law, excellent research skills, and a deep understanding of the discovery process. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on complex and high-stakes medical malpractice cases, providing crucial support to our attorneys and contributing to our mission of delivering top-tier legal services to our clients. Responsibilities:1. Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy development.2. Prepare and manage a wide range of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, affidavits, and subpoenas.3. Assist with all aspects of the trial preparation, including organizing evidence, coordinating witnesses, and preparing trial binders.4. Manage all phases of the discovery process, including drafting discovery requests and responses, reviewing and analyzing documents, and coordinating depositions.5. Maintain efficient and organized case management systems to ensure timely and accurate updates on case progress.6. Collaborate with attorneys, clients, medical professionals, and expert witnesses to gather and analyze medical records and other relevant information.Qualifications:1. Experience as a paralegal, preferably in the field of medical malpractice.2. Proficiency in legal research tools and software, such as Westlaw or LexisNexis.3. Extensive experience with the discovery process and trial preparation.4. Familiarity with case management systems and legal document preparation.5. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.6. Strong written and verbal communication skills.7. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain client confidentiality.8. Proven ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.9.
