Client Care Specialist / Medical Office Coordinator
Job Type: Full-TimeReports To: Practice ManagerCompensation: Based on experienceAbout the RoleWe are looking for a friendly, organized, and service-driven Client Care Specialist to join our team in Las Cruces, NM. In this front-facing role, you will help create a positive experience for every patient from the moment they walk through the door or call the office. The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing patient service, scheduling, payment collection, and administrative support in a busy healthcare environment.What You'll Do
- Welcome patients and visitors in a warm, professional, and helpful manner in person and by phone.
- Schedule appointments and help manage provider calendars accurately and efficiently.
- Collect payments, provide receipts, and support daily transaction reconciliation.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure documentation is entered correctly in the EMR system.
- Work closely with clinical and administrative staff to support a smooth patient experience.
- Scan, upload, and organize documents while helping manage paperwork and signature flow.
- Respond to patient questions and concerns with empathy, professionalism, and urgency.
- Keep the reception and front desk area clean, organized, and ready to serve patients each day.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
- One to two years of experience in customer service, front desk support, medical reception, or a healthcare setting preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
- Comfort using EMR systems, Microsoft Office, and other administrative software.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask, stay calm under pressure, and manage a fast-paced workflow.
- A positive attitude and genuine commitment to excellent patient service.
Schedule and Work EnvironmentThis is a full-time, on-site position based in Las Cruces, NM.
