Travel Rad Tech Company: Fusion Medical StaffingFacility in Tupelo, MississippiJob Details Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Rad Tech for a 13-week travel assignment in Tupelo, Mississippi. One year's experience as Radiologic TechnologistCurrent Radiologic Technologist/ Radiography license in compliance with state regulationsSummary: The Radiologic Technologist performs advanced imaging procedures using radiographic equipment to produce high-quality images that aid physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. They ensure patient safety, maintain equipment functionality, and collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver accurate and effective diagnostic results.Prepare and operate advanced radiologic equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images according to physician ordersMaintain equipment and sterilize the room in which procedure takes placeEvaluate images for quality, present images and preliminary findings to physicians and health care teamMaintain and inspect imaging equipment for proper functionality, troubleshooting issues and reporting malfunctions as neededDocument all imaging procedures and technical details accurately in patient recordsFollow hospital safety rules and procedures including infection control and radiation safety protocolsPerform other duties as assigned within the scope of Radiologic Technologist practiceThe ability to read, write, and communicate in the English languagePhysical Abilities

Must be able to remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), push, pull, and bendTechnical/Motor Skills
Must have the ability to grasp, perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipmentMental Requirements
