Summary:

We are currently hiring for the position of Infusion Center Medical Receptionist. This position is responsible for greeting incoming patients and performing other clerical/administrative duties to support the infusion center while supporting and demonstrating TwelveStone's values and philosophies in the accomplishment of our mission. This position is not eligible for telework.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Schedule patient appointments.
  • Receive and sort mail, scan documents, etc.
  • Collects data from patients, including insurance information, demographics
  • Verifies benefits prior to Infusion Center appointments.
  • Collects Out of Pocket/Co-insurance payments from patients.
  • Greets patients and families, answer phone calls and direct calls to appropriate person.
  • Check in patients for the infusion center appointments.
  • Must report to work on time, maintain acceptable attendance and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education: High school diploma or GED required.

Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a receptionist or similar administrative role, medical practice setting/reception preferred. Must be familiar with technology to include electronic medical records, Microsoft Teams, Outlook.

Functional Competencies: Organization, prioritizing, attention to detail, dependability, cooperation, collaboration, team, initiative, customer service, verbal and written communication, problem solving, multitasking.
