Job Description

Since 1905, The Bradley Center has continually served children and families in need. Today, the residential treatment facility provides 24 hour care and trauma-informed treatment to children who have a history of trauma and who may present with a wide range of challenges.

We are seeking a Medical Records Technician to organize and direct the activities of the Medical Records Department. 

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Maintains accuracy of all client related charts
  • Tracks deficiencies and keeps staff and supervisors informed
  • Ensures all documentation is filed in a timely manner
  • Completing record requests

Qualifications best suited for this position:

  • Strong attention to detail  and accuracy
  • Organizational skills
  • Analytical thinking
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and privacy laws
  • Ability to work in a team environment

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years experience in the Health Information Management or related field required
  • Knowledge of regulatory agency standards including Joint Commission, State Department of Health, and HCFA required
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
