Job Description
Primary Responsibilities/Requirements:
- Check out patients and schedule return appointments
- Schedule PT or other various procedures/tests
- Schedule surgeries
- Verifying and precert insurances for surgery and other procedures/tests
- Complete Work Restriction forms
- Assist with calling patients to exam room
- Assist with general nursing duties (ie: suture removal, dressing changes)
- Assist with patient questions
- Assist with telephone calls
- Assist other team members as needed
Must also possess:
- HS/GED required
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadline
- Outstanding organizational, verbal and writing skills
- Independent and highly motivated
- Initiative and self-discipline
- Proven positive, "teamwork" attitude in work history
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to use arms, hands, and fingers skillfully
- Constant sitting or standing for long periods of time
- Must be agile and able to work efficiently in space limited areas
- Consistently work at a productive pace
- Must readily adapt to frequent treatment schedule changes
