Job Summary
Medical Student Coordinator at McLean HospitalSummaryThe Medical Student Coordinator supports the administration and delivery of the psychiatry clerkship and related medical student educational programs at McLean Hospital. This role serves as the primary liaison between medical students, McLean faculty, and the clerkship and associate clerkship site directors, ensuring smooth onboarding and offboarding of medical students and coordinating their educational activities. The coordinator helps ensure an organized, supportive, and well run learning environment for both Harvard Medical School students and visiting medical students from other institutions.This is a 50% time position. With the exception of two half-days every four weeks to both prep for and help with student orientation,, the majority of the work for this role can be performed remotely.Essential FunctionsQualifications

Experience
- Experience in academic medicine, medical education administration, or healthcare program coordination preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and coordinate complex schedules.
- Ability to clearly communicate via email and other written formats.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, trainees, and other department staff.
- Attention to detail and strong problem‑solving abilities.
- Commitment to providing responsive and student‑centered support.
