Job Description

Sterling Medical is seeking a Full time Medical Support Assistant to support various Veterans Affairs Medical Centers (VAMC) including Alaska, Washington, Oregon, and Idaho.

Regular business hours: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm

Work location: Telework in Anchorage AK

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or GED.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience in an advanced or complex clinical setting utilizing numerous advanced patient care systems, scheduling appointments across multiple clinics and coordination of services among a team of medical providers and clinics to include outside agencies.

Advanced knowledge of medical terminology, the technical health care process, policy and procedure related to coordination of care.
