Job Description

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical (Post-Surgical/Inpatient) – Manhattan, KSLooking for an experienced RN to join a leading facility in Manhattan, KS, for a rewarding Medical Surgical (Post-Surgical/Inpatient) assignment.   • Location: Manhattan, KS
  • Start Date: 10/12/2026
  • End Date: 01/11/2027
  • Shift: 12-hour Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
  • Hours/Week: 36 GHS per week
  • Employment Type: Contract
  • Licensure: KS or Multistate license required
  • Experience: Prior post-surgical/inpatient RN experience preferred
Pay & Benefits:
  • Competitive hourly pay rate of $56.95

What You’ll Do:
  • Manage care for patients recovering from surgeries and various procedures
  • Monitor vital signs and assess patient conditions regularly
  • Administer medications accurately and safely
  • Watch for and respond to post-operative complications
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team, including on-call physicians during nights and weekends
  • Document patient care activities thoroughly and timely
  • Follow all safety and compliance protocols in a fast-paced inpatient setting
What You Need:
  • Valid Kansas or Multistate RN license
  • AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required at time of submission
  • Prior experience in a post-surgical or inpatient setting preferred
  • Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
