Medical Technologist / Medical Laboratory Technician

Dillon, SC | Full-Time | Competitive Compensation

A community hospital in the Dillon, South Carolina area is seeking a Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician to join its laboratory team. This is a great opportunity for a laboratory professional looking to work in a supportive hospital environment and make a direct impact on patient care.

Responsibilities

Perform laboratory testing according to established procedures.
Process and prepare patient specimens.
Operate laboratory instrumentation and equipment.
Review and verify test results for accuracy.
Perform quality control and maintain laboratory standards.
Follow safety, regulatory, and infection-control procedures.
Maintain accurate documentation and patient records.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

Medical Technologist/MLS or Medical Laboratory Technician/MLT certification as applicable.
Appropriate South Carolina credentials/licensure.
