Full-Time, Permanent | Sign-On Bonus and Relocation Assistance

Take your laboratory career to the Big Island! A hospital in Hawaii is seeking a full-time, permanent Medical Technologist, Medical Laboratory Scientist, or Medical Laboratory Technician to join its clinical laboratory team.

Evening and night shifts are the greatest priority, although some day-shift availability may also be offered. This is an excellent opportunity for a laboratory professional who is ready to build a rewarding career in an unforgettable location.

Position Overview

The MT/MLS or MLT will work as a generalist across multiple areas of the clinical laboratory, including:

  • Chemistry
  • Hematology
  • Urinalysis
  • Microbiology
  • Blood Bank

Responsibilities include performing accurate and timely laboratory testing, maintaining quality-control standards, operating laboratory instrumentation, and collaborating with the healthcare team to support excellent patient care.

Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Medical Laboratory Technology, or a related qualifying field
  • Current Hawaii license as a Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician, or eligibility to obtain the applicable license
  • ASCP or AMT certification
  • Ability and willingness to work as a generalist across all major laboratory departments
