Medical Technologist Boston, MA MUST: Experienced Medical Technologist 1+ years working as a Medical Technologist 1+ years working in a Laboratory Bachelor's required MLS, CLS, or AMT Experience processing specimens Experience in Chemistry, Hematology, and Molecular is strongly preferred Experience working in a laboratory, processing specimens following CLIA regulations DUTIES: Perform routine chemistry testing on automated instrumentation Perform routine urinalysis testing Perform general blood bank duties to include cross matching, antibody screening, and processing in blood and blood products. Microbiology testing including plating, gram staining, reading plates, subbing plates, Micro scan set up, PCR testing, etc. Perform ordered tests on samples provided to the laboratory following established CLIA regulations and procedures Participate in regular proficiency testing Identify problems that may adversely affect test performance or reporting of test results and either correct the problems or immediately notify the general supervisor Document all corrective actions taken when test systems deviate from the laboratory's established performance specifications Maintain confidentiality of test results Monitor supplies to ensure adequate levels are maintained to meet testing demand Assist in preparing for and participating in regulatory inspections of the laboratory Assist in development and regular review of standard operation procedures Other duties as assigned related to the performance of high complexity testing *Quadrant, Inc. is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
