Job Description

Pay Rate: $19.80/hour + $4/hour PRN differential

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Illinois Department of Corrections.

We are currently seeking a PRN Medication Room Assistant to join our team at Vienna Correctional Center located in Vienna, Illinois.

The Medication Room Assistant works under the supervision of the Director of Nursing. This person will:

Assist with the organization and maintenance of medication room records
Assist with the maintenance of medication room inventory and audit procedures
Maintain the security of all medications and supplies under their control or supervision
Processes supply requests in a prompt, cooperative and efficient manner
Confirms ordered medications are received
Logs outgoing medications
Assists with the delivery of medications as determined by site administration
