Pay: $16–$19/hr DOE

Schedule Options: PT or FT PM • FT NOC

Shift Differentials: +$1/hr nights & +$1/hr weekends

THE TYPE OF MEDICATION TECHNICIAN WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're searching for someone who can meet the following qualifications:

• Current Caregiver Certification
• Ability to complete required training
• Strong communication skills
• Physical mobility, including lifting, transferring, standing, walking

Possessing these traits would also be ideal:

• Patience
• Empathy
• Deep appreciation for working with seniors - especially those navigating dementia

WHAT IT'S LIKE TO BE OUR MEDICATION TECHNICIAN

As our Medication Technician, you'll operate at the heart of resident care, supporting wellness, safety, and comfort.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Administer medications (oral, liquids, inhalers, topical, drops)
• Assist with simple dressing changes
• Perform basic skin care and help with bathing if needed
• Maintain dignity, privacy, and resident rights
• Document services and note condition changes
• Ensure confidentiality at all times
• Support residents with daily needs while encouraging independence
• Follow Western States Senior Communities' hygiene and appearance standards
• Complete tasks assigned by a Licensed Nurse
